Trump Won’t Advertise Healthcare So Let’s Do It Ourselves

healthcare

It’s clear Trump wants Obamacare to fail. He refuses to use his big megaphone to tell Americans that they have affordable healthcare options and seemingly is doing as little as possible to promote the open enrollment period. Obamacare is here to stay, but we’re going to have to do the heavy lifting to let our fellow Americans know about it.

💥 The Deadline to Enroll for Healthcare is December 15💥

In Obama’s final year as President, $100 million was spent on advertising the healthcare enrollment period. This year, Trump will spend $10 million. Obama invested in many “navigators” in each state that could guide citizens as they signed up for healthcare, but Trump has slashed those organizations by 80%.

The result is that sign ups are already trending much lower this year, in some states as much as 25% less than the previous year!

Well, being insured can mean the difference between going bankrupt or not. Or getting care or not. Or even living or not. That’s just too important to ignore.

So, I want to encourage you to share this post and/or create your own social media post by using the info and graphics in this post to let people know that the deadline to enroll for healthcare is coming up quick.

Good information to share:

✦ Signup for coverage at Healthcare.gov

✦ To be eligible, you must live in the U.S., be a U.S. citizen or national, and not be incarcerated. If you have any questions about eligibility, go HERE.

✦ All Obamacare plans cover pre-existing conditions and preventative services.

✦ In 2019, on average, premiums are lower! That said, some states have big decreases, and some states have increases.

✦ Consumers will have more options to choose from! While a bunch of insurers left the marketplace due to the uncertainty of the Republican’s repeal effort, many have returned. There were 132 this year, but there will be 155 in 2019!
