Every day, the Trump administration acts in ways that are contrary to what many of us think is American. While we raise our voices in protest to those policies we vehemently disagree with, we must also do everything we can to flip Congress and the state legislatures so we will be in a better position to hold the administration accountable and slow down their efforts.

So let’s turn our eyes to all the elections happening in June. There are 7 special elections, 18 primaries and 1 recall election scheduled in June 2018. Use this information for your own civic engagement, or share with your network to spread the word and increase awareness and turnout!

  1. Our primaries here in Georgia were this month. The winner of the Democratic primary for the 9th Congressional District of GA (Josh McCall) shared your blog post #WhereAreTheChildren with his supporters on Facebook. That was how I became aware of your blog!

    • I’m honored. Good luck to Josh as he heads into November. I’m so pleased he’s giving the incumbent an opponent this cycle! If you need some ideas helping out Josh’s campaign, I’ve got some posts that might give you some good ideas in the Explainers section of the blog!
