So I’m heading out of town for a family reunion and I try to unplug a bit when I’m on vacation. I’m never completely successful, but I try.
One resource that helps is Political Wire. Run by Taegan Goddard, it finds and summarizes the day’s political news stories. I can check it once in the morning and once in the evening and get caught up in just a few minutes.

So, on those days when you really don’t want to wade into all the outrage and bad news on social media and elsewhere, but you also don’t want to be completely out of the loop, give Political Wire a try.
