Is it me, or have we been living through far too many historic firsts these last few years? This week, it was Kevin McCarthy finding himself become the first Speaker of the House to be thrown out of the office. The Republicans are in total chaos — so much so that I cannot even begin to predict what will happen next week as they try to elect a new Speaker.
I dedicated this week’s cartoon section to just images about this story. But first, let’s get to the good news!

Call to Action
The big Virginia elections are one month away! Remember, the Republicans are working hard to try and take the state Senate so they can have complete control of the state. The DLCC has identified the 17 key races that Dems must win to prevent that from happening. I’m asking each of my readers to consider giving $17 — that’ll give $1 to each of these candidates — to help win these important races. Will you join me? Click HERE to give. Thank you!
