The Week’s Best Cartoons: Insurrection

By Bill Bramhall, New York Daily News

A week none of us will ever forget. A week which saw our own president incite a riot and insurrection which resulted in our Capitol being breached during a joint session of Congress and 5 people dead. Here is a collection of some of the best cartoons I saw about the events.

(Tomorrow, I’ll be posting a special edition of the cartoon roundup to feature cartoons covering the election in Georgia.)

  1. All excellent assessments, but that last one says it all. :'(

    • I thought so, too. My guess is that a lot of editorial cartoonists are still processing what happened, and while this week’s cartoons feel more “documentary,” next week’s may be more editorial.

  2. Thanks. I agree with jilldennison
