
As his final act, John Lewis left us a gift.
Yesterday was his funeral, and he had requested that his final letter be published the same day. It appeared in the New York Times, and later, those words were read out loud by Morgan Freeman and set to video, which you can watch here.
I hope you will take the 5 minutes it takes to read one of my normal posts and listen to this instead.
If you’ve been protesting and pushing for change, you can forever hold in your heart that you inspired John Lewis.
