  1. Given all that is tearing the country apart, feeling patriotic is not coming easily on this 4th of July. I have had to repeat this quote to myself several times betwixt last evening and today : “Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it.” – Mark Twain. This is another excellent collection of political cartoons from a talented group of cartoonists. Thank-you!

  2. This year, I can honestly say that I don’t see a thing about this country worth celebrating. The cartoons are spot on, and I hope that by next year I can feel at least a bit of optimism that I surely do not feel today. Thanks for the ‘toons, TS!
