How To Ensure the Truth Doesn’t Get Buried in Republican Lies

The Republicans have made one thing very clear over the past few years. They are not even remotely interested in pursuing the truth.

They don’t want to talk about the truth, or ask questions in pursuit of the truth. They are allergic to the truth, apparently. So, since they aren’t interested in the truth, they fill their air time with all sorts of whining and side shows. Which then get reported on by media and gets amplified on social media.

All of this has the effect of burying the truth.

Which is where we come in. We need to make sure that the truth is out there, and not getting obscured with non-relevant Republican chatter. How do we do that? We take a chapter out of George Lakoff’s, the noted cognitive linguist, playbook. We use the truth sandwich. Here’s how it works:

It isn’t always easy to do this (especially on Twitter with limited characters) but it is possible. And let’s be honest, the Republicans give us daily opportunities to practice this.
