New York Times Jettisons Its Cartoonists

Earlier this week, the New York Times decided to get rid of editorial cartoons. The ire from the editorial cartoonist community was swift and loud. Patrick Chapatte, a cartoonist who is losing his job over this decision, wrote an incredible piece as to why these types of cartoons are so important right now which you should read HERE.
