Special Elections in February 2019

img_3695

Look at any Tuesday and there is a high chance that an election is happening somewhere in the country. Post midterms, we should expect a lot of movement–new governors asking state legislators to join their administration which then opens up seats that need special elections to fill, etc.

So far in February, there are 18 elections scheduled. If one of these is your district, make sure you vote! For everyone else, please share this with your network to spread the word in order to increase awareness and turnout!

  1. Thank you to several readers who’ve notified me of elections in their community! Keep them coming!

  2. Can you distinguish when these are primaries versus general elections? I think it helps activists and voters to understand the process and that they may need to vote again.
