The time to get voters registered is right now! Many states have a deadline of one month prior to an election to get registered to vote and that means we’ve got to concentrate on getting new voters registered and previous voters to check on their registration status before the beginning of October rolls around.
Michelle Obama’s organization, When We All Vote, kicks off their official Week of Action today. She started the organization to remind the country of the incredible organizing and work that led to the creation of the Voting Rights Act.

Week of Action starts today, and runs through next weekend. And in the middle of Week of Action–September 25–is National Voter Registration Day.
