Thank You & Welcome

thanks

I want to take a moment to thank you. All I wanted to do with my #WhereAreTheChildren post was to share some actions we could take to help mitigate the horrible things that are happening at our borders. I am grateful that people are moved to share that information to inspire others.

I have been completely blown away by the response. What started as a thread on my Twitter feed yesterday and then updated to become a post here on Political⚡Charge has since gone viral, all thanks to you, my readers. YOU were inspired to create change and shared the post. And you did inspire others–because they shared it too. As I sit here to type this, the post has been shared over 98,000 times.

I started this blog because I could not sit by and watch my country go in a direction I disagreed with. I am here to give people information they can use themselves, or share with others. You can see more about why I started Political⚡Charge here. Lately, I’ve been focusing a lot of my energy on getting people energized and active with elections. Shifting power away from the Republicans, who are allowing all these things to happen, is my top priority.

For those of you who are new to this blog, here are a few posts that my readers have really liked:

Getting started with political activism

The midterm turnout problem Democrats need to fix

What is the #1 most effective way to get out the vote?

15 ways you can help get more people registered to vote

The women of the Resistance

Again, thank you all for caring, and inspiring others to take action. It fills me with hope that we can get our country turned around. I am truly grateful.
